Not overly happy with this one. Mostly because white doen't really appeal to me. And apologies for the yucky photos!! I did have it finished yesterday, though not enough time to post. xo

Day 1- Saralata

So here she is, Saralata. 16 x 11.5 cm artist book.

Glueing- slightly difficult, material didn't like to stick.

25 Books in 25 Days Personal Challenge

Ok, as the title claims, I will attempt to produce 25 books in 25 days. Argh! Now I don't think I have kept any promises to myself this year so far, like crafting every day, practicing guitar, booking to go to the dentist (but they're so scary...), KEEPING UP A BLOG..... sigh, I'm a terrible, terrible person. But I need to do something about this. Seeing as I would like to start my own business (selling handbound books, of course!) I really need to get motivated. And the only way to do that is to just start!

So here are the rules:
1.) One completed book every day, any dimension, of high quality for selling.
2.) If a day is missed due to unforseen problems, then 2 books must be completed by the next day. This MUST be the deadline, otherwise I KNOW I will fall too far behind.
3.) NO SLEEPING WHEN I COULD BE BOOKBINDING! Ok? You love sleep too much, Miss Michellaneous.

So here goes. I will start this friday, the 18th March, giving me roughly 3 days to prepare desk space, designs, sew a few signatures and cut some card. Or is that cheating? Already??
